Why We Love Their Story
Working with Great Moves!, a pediatric weight management program formed in collaboration with the physicians of Children's Hospital Boston, was important for Savoir Media given that childhood obesity was becoming a critical domestic issue. Obesity affects 17% of children and adolescents in the United States, three times the rate from just one generation ago.

How We Work Together
Savoir Media developed a comprehensive media program for Great Moves!. The program aimed to launch the business and increase awareness about the perils of the pediatric obesity epidemic in Massachusetts and the U.S. Great Moves! signed on to Savoir Media's Total Media Plan^TM package. The campaign included the following elements:

• Public relations
• Media training
• Content strategy and development: Helped develop a quarterly newsletter entitled, "Building Healthy Lifestyles," which was distributed to pediatricians and some residents in the Greater Boston area
• Graphic design
  • Created a poster campaign entitled, "Boston's New Red Line" that highlighted the importance of monitoring a child's body mass index to avoid obesity
  • Assisted in the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, charts and advertisements

What We Helped Achieve
Savoir Media's campaign for Great Moves! was awarded "Best Public Relations Campaign of the Year" by the Stevie Awards in 2009. Through this campaign, Great Moves! was successfully launched to the Massachusetts audience.

• The Great Moves! story was launched with an exclusive feature on the front page of The Boston Globe's Business section.
• The unique pediatric weight management program also appeared in:

  • WCVB-TV Channel 5, Boston's ABC Affiliate
  • Chronicle, Boston's news magazine program
